Nigerian Aluminium Extrusions Limited, commonly known as NIGALEX, was established in 1973. From its early days with about 250 employees, it set out to serve the construction, automobile, aviation, and architectural sectors. Over the decades, it has grown into one of the leading producers of aluminium profiles in West Africa.
NIGALEX’s core business is extruding aluminium profiles, supplying windows, doors, curtain walls, partitions, fixed louvres, and various special profiles used in building façades and infrastructure.
On the capacity side, NIGALEX has made substantial investments in its extrusion plants. It operates two major extrusion presses: one of 2,200 tonnes capacity (installed earlier) and another of 2,300 tonnes capacity, added more recently. The installed capacity of these plants allows output of over 25,000 tonnes per annum of extruded profiles under optimum utilization. They also have over 5,000 extrusion dies to enable a wide variety of profile shapes and cross sections.
NIGALEX is a veteran aluminium extrusion company in Nigeria, with a large product range, significant capacity, regional distribution reach, quality certifications, and a long history of serving high-spec architectural and industrial aluminium needs.
